Here will be the projects that I create within my COMM 240 class that are non-book related.
Within our class, we have been working with Adobe Photoshop. For our first assignment, we were tasked with making a collage, as can be seen here below.

Next, we began to look at the implications of AI using the tool to manipulate images. Below is a photo that I used the AI Generative tool in Photoshop to edit.

We then began to work on logos for our websites. We would make sketches ourselves and then, by using Adobe Illustrator, we would trace over the sketch using the tools. I found Illustrator easy to use at times but difficult at others. One thing that I found most difficult was the layers; at times, they would not work properly, and I would lose my progress. But overall, I feel that I did relatively well with my logo despite a few little setbacks. But do I feel that I would use Illustrator in the future? Most likely not. I wouldn’t need Illustrator for my major, so I don’t think that I would ever have to use it again outside of this class.

Most recently, we did a supplementary assignment, exploring Adobe Lightroom. We selected three photos and played with the different tools to give the photos a different feeling. I went with “whimsy”, wanting to highlight the sunsetting as well as illuminating the rainbow.
